Does Psych Hub offer continuing education courses required for my license or certificate renewal?

Psych Hub offers over 100 courses for continuing education credit. For more information on CE offerings, please refer to our continuing education document. You can find detailed information about CEs offered for a specific course within the “Course Details Section” of your account. 

Because we partner with several nationally recognized approving organizations for mental health professionals, the vast majority of licensed mental health providers in the United States can expect to find courses on Psych Hub that offer continuing education credit.

However, each state has a licensing board with its own unique requirements. Your state’s licensing board is the ultimate authority in determining the continuing education requirements for your license renewal. If you’re uncertain about your requirements or if the state licensing board’s website isn’t clear, we recommend contacting them directly for guidance. If you do not have a license but hold a certification, this will also depend on your specific certification’s renewal requirements.

General Tips for Navigating CE Requirements 

If your licensing board or certification website does not guide approved organizations for continuing education, it generally means you have flexibility in choosing CEs, provided the topic and content requirements are met. In some cases, states specify that CEs must come from a nationally recognized approving body. If that applies to you, we recommend selecting from our nationally recognized partners such as the APA, ASWB, NBCC, or ANCC.
